Composing for Guitar:
3. THE SWEET, ALMOST SICKENING TIME WHEN PEOPLE JUST GET
TOGETHER AND NOBODY ELSE WANTS TO HEAR IT
In this section I deliberately slowed down and raised the melody to create a kind of sweet mood that’s reflective of that newness in a relationship.
4. THE DECISION TO GET MARRIED
This part was more difficult. I’m not sure that I really captured the mood of a proposal but it fit the song anyway. It’s kind of relates a happy, sweet mood but then followed by some movement / excitement. Additionally, I needed something to start to move me back towards the introduction that I knew I wanted to incorporate back into the song. In the next section I’ll include that transition.
