DCG Chords and Slurs

In this study we're going to change the old standby, DCG, to not sound so much like what you hear on songs all day long on the radio. We'll use hammer ons and pull offs to do this. Now this exercises is only a few measures long, but practice it and expand upon it. It's geared towards the intermediate to advanced player but once you get the fingering right it's fairly simple to play.

If you hold down a D chord and a G chord, you'll notice that almost throughout the entire exercise the ring finger (a) is planted on the 2nd string / 3rd fret. The index finger (i) and the pinky (x) hammer on and pull off around it.
